The US Department of Education requires bet36365体育 to notify applicants who have an out-of-state address and are interested in or enrolled in degree programs that lead to state licensure or certification.
Certification and licensure requirements differ from state to state. We are required to notify you if the program you are interested in or enrolled in will meet educational requirements to apply for certification or licensure in your home state. The official categories are: Meets and Does Not Meet.
A Does Not Meet status does not indicate that you will be unable to obtain certification or licensure in your home state. Please check with your advisor, department chair, or certification officer for further details. Contact information for each program is found in the program sections below.

Athletic Training (MAT)
All candidates for certification must earn a degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited institution such as bet36365体育, which qualifies them to take the national board exam. Candidates must pass the board exam before they are eligible to apply for state certification or licensure. The determination in the table below assumes those two requirements have been met. Other states may require fingerprinting and CPR/AED certification. Texas also requires applicants to pass an exam in Jurisprudence based on Texas law.
